Romantic Salmon Recipes

Why is it that the most romantic dinners always involve salmon?

Back when we were dating, my now-husband decided to impress me by going to Trader Joe's in Los Angeles, picking up frozen salmon and wild rice, splurging on a tablecloth and wine glasses ... and I swear I fell in love with him for good and proper over that broiled salmon, with Wynton Marsalis playing in the background.

Turns out it wasn't a sign of things to come - my guy dislikes cooking and I've ended up being our lucky kitchen witch ... uh, whiz.

What stunned me was when a Trader Joe's finally opened here in our town a year ago. We were there at 8:30 a.m. for the opening ceremonies, ready to stock up on salmon, wild rice, and wine.
