Looking for a healthy side dish to complement all of that leftover turkey? Try mashing rutabagas with potatoes and carrots. Rotmos will be a sure hit with any vegetarian or health-conscious guests - the addition of potatoes takes the edge off of the sharpness of the rutabagas and lends the mash a creamy texture, while the rutabagas and carrots provide key vitamins and antioxidants, a bright color and flavor, and far fewer calories than cream- and butter-laden mashed potatoes can boast.
