- 3 cups fresh or frozen lingonberries
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbs. Aquavit or vodka
Puree the berries, sugar, water, and vodka together in a blender or food processor. Process in an ice cream / sorbet maker or, alternatively, pour into a shallow container and freeze for 2 hours, removing pan from freezer every 20 minutes and whisking contents to prevent solid freezing.
